I have a 2000 4L60E in my Camaro and I just started having issues with it. When shifting from park to drive the car will jolt into gear and almost give you whiplash. When the car is in drive it doesn't gear down when hard on throttle and the shifts feel light. I can hardly feel the shift from 2 to 3. I have also noticed that the motor will sometime idle higher than usual or idle down upon stopping and almost die. Could all these things being tied together? They started happening all around the same time. Any ideas to what is happening?

 

I would suspect a TPS issue myself
