Default what starter for powerglide and LQ4?

This may seem like a very obvious answer for some, but I have very little experience with this.

I mated a powerglide to my LQ4, but I don't know what starter I will need. Do I just get the plate that goes between the engine and transmission and then bolt an LS1 starter to that plate? That would line the starter up with the flex plate I assume.

Just looking at my LQ4 and powerglide together, there is nowhere to put a starter currently LOL.

Maybe any pictures you guys could post would clear this up for me.

Thanks guys.

Ok, so after quite a bit of searching for an obvious answer... I am pretty sure than the factory starter whether it be ls1/ls2/lq4 or whatever, just bolts to the block and lines up with the flex plate.

I have the block, and I have the tranny, but I don't have the starter in front of me, so it was hard for me to understand this without seeing a picture.

On my nissan 3.0 liter, the starter actually bolts through the bell housing on the tranny, so... yeah.

Arent best pics, but you can see teh starter location. It's engine side, not tranny side, and is generally fixed position. Any starter should work
