Difference between Crossmembers and DS safety loop
Difference between Crossmembers and DS safety loop So I've got a BMR driveshaft safety loop... this one.

A buddy of mine just sold his car and gave me this Spohn crossmember, which says it's for longtube headers and Y pipe setups. It comes with the DS safetly loop built in.

My question is, do these both bolt in the same place? And if so, which one would I be better off running, and what are the benefits of the better one? I have a 700R4 auto trans (4l60 basically), and a Edelbrock tubular trans mounted torque arm. I have Pacesetter LT's, 3" ORY, and 3" Borla catback.
From the pictures, they look pretty identical as far as mounting and all that goes, but I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff so I don't know what the crossmember has that is better than the DS safety loop. The crossmember is like 3x the cost.
