Default Difference between Crossmembers and DS safety loop

So I've got a BMR driveshaft safety loop... this one.

A buddy of mine just sold his car and gave me this Spohn crossmember, which says it's for longtube headers and Y pipe setups. It comes with the DS safetly loop built in.

My question is, do these both bolt in the same place? And if so, which one would I be better off running, and what are the benefits of the better one? I have a 700R4 auto trans (4l60 basically), and a Edelbrock tubular trans mounted torque arm. I have Pacesetter LT's, 3" ORY, and 3" Borla catback.

From the pictures, they look pretty identical as far as mounting and all that goes, but I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff so I don't know what the crossmember has that is better than the DS safety loop. The crossmember is like 3x the cost.

yes, same mounting, irrelevant as to which you use. Both perform the same task. Sell the freebie and sleep well. Saves you the 30 minutes switching them out.
