th350 questions.

th350 questions. I recently lost 3&4 gear in my 4l60E auto transmission in my 99 trans am. I have a th350 sitting in my garage not being used. I hear it will work with my car with some modifications. Before i go pulling my transmission out, can anybody tell me what it will take to make the th350 work in my car? What pro's and con's will i have from this transmission being a weekend driver track/street. Thanks for any help.
