Default 2-3 Shift Problem at WOT

I've got a lvl 5 4l60e with a YankSS4000 and at WOT now since the rebuild it when i'm wot it won't make the 2-3 without getting off the petal.

I'm gonna have my trans guy take a look at it soon but what do you guys think is going on? He thinks it's just an electrical issue in the valve body.

Also sometimes when i'm cruising around for a while i'll stop and it won't select 1st on it's own. it stays in 2nd and I have to select 1st manually, and after than it shifts SUPER HARD until i shut the car off. If I shut it off for a minute and restart that issue stops and it works fine.

Any opinions?

2/3 shift problems are common with big converters. The trans tune must be adjusted to compensate.

It should if you explain the problem to the tuner and he is halfway worth a ****.

I completely agree. If you haven't tuned for the stall you are missing a big part of the equation and need to do so asap. Sometimes it takes tuners a while to get the shift points down so even a mail order tune might not cut it.
