will a lt1 4l60 bolt up to a ls1 engine??

yes it will, you just need to set it up like you would for an oldschool th350/400 to ls1 engine,, and use either the hughes or gm crank spacer

It's a 96 lt1 4l60e I've heard only 97s and up fit on ls1s??

it wll bolt up fine if you use one of the crank spacers, either the hughes or gm spacer w/bolts
