I'm in the process of swapping my t-56 for a TH400. I bought a new energy suspension poly mount and it comes with an extra plate/spacer. I never had this preload plate in my poly t-56 setup. do I need it with the th400 or just install it without? I am using a UMI th400 crossmember for 98-02 f-body.

 

no you need it just use your M6 cross member, go to Spohns suspension website they have a video on there about it
