Getting the Transmission rebuilt

Ok im going to get my Transmission rebuilt and put a 3600 or 3800 stall, the car has 190K miles. Should i get a new flywheel? anything else i should add?

Might as well get a new flywheel while it's out or check the old one for any cracks.

you dont have a flywheel, you have a flexplate...unless you can get something stronger/lighter, which I dont know if something like that is available...then I wouldn't bother unless you have a cracked flexplate now.

You can buy stronger flexplates and they aren't that expensive.

ok yeah sorry i thought it was the flywheel, ya when we take out the transmission ill look at the flexplate and inspect it. Where can i get a new one at?
