4L80e housings, PLEASE help Hi,
I'm putting an Lq9 into a 68 camaro. I bought a 4l80e that I'm going to have built up, but noticed my motor has a bolt hole at the 12 o'clock position and the transmission does not. Are there different housings on 4l80e's? Do I need to do some more shopping for another tranny? Thanks!!!

You more than likely have a early style case. They were made from 91-98 I believe. They are fine. You are just going to be short one bolt. I am running the same case on my car and I ran a th400 like this also.
