Default F body 4l60e in a C5?

Just as the title says, will a 4l60e out of a FBody fit in a 1998 C5 vette? I know the tail shaft housing would have to be removed but is there any other issues with the swap? Same splines? Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately an f-body trans won't work at all. The C5 corvette 4L60e case is Corvette only. The case is completely different along with the output shaft. If you need a rebuilt unit we have an exchange program where we build you a transmission and ship it to you. Then when you get the new one installed you strap the old one back to the shipping pallet then call us up. We will send a freight pickup for the old one at no cost to you.

Let me know if you have any questions at all. I'll be happy to answer them.
