Modified T56 crossmember for 80e install?

Modified T56 crossmember for 80e install? I've seen mention in various stickies that its 'possible' to modify the T56 crossmember for a 80e install. Has anyone done this? I've tried finding measurements online to see how far off the mounting point might be but couldn't find any good information.
If I'm able to re-use my T56 crossmember and modify it slightly, I'll go that route instead of a new crossmember. Reason being, I modified my T56 crossmember a while back when I deleted the hump in my passenger floor.
