Default Transmission Filter?

What is the part number for the AC Delco replacement filter? Gonna change the fluid soon so I want to make sure I get the right one.

#24236799. That is the filter kit that includes a new filter plus new pan gasket and a new filter collar seal.

That part number was accurate as of last fall when I changed the filter in my '02 car.

I checked that # on AC's site and it matched so I called Advance with the part #. It had to be ordered and I stopped to get it today. I looked at it and told them it was the wrong part # so they showed me on their computer that they both work.

I get home and check AC again and this filter is for a 94-96 Camaro not my 2002. They can't even get me the right filter because what I have is all they show.

Sometimes computers suck.

A '94-96 Camaro would still use a 4L60E, and I would imagine that the filters would be interchangeable.

But either way, the part number I posted was from the GM invoice that I received when I ordered a filter for my '02 Camaro, and when I installed that filter in my '02 transmission it was identicle to the one I removed. So I can assure you that this is the correct GM part number for the filter for an '02.

I agree that your part # is correct. After spending more time on Delco's site it looks like they made a change to the filter because there are different part #s.

TF289 for 94-96 and TF333 for 97-02 and the kit I have has the TF289.

So no filter change this weekend, maybe next.
