Haha! Good question... I'd like to know this too. My tires are in good shape, but even then i would still spin them at the track, with just my cam shorties and cut out. With the stall thats goin in, im sure they will spin alot more.

What do you mean exactly... how long did it take to kill the tires...Or how long did it take to realize that we needed sticky tires?

Me personally...I dont do burnouts on the street only at the track. If I catch a car that wants to throw down at a red light ill launch the **** out of it and it will spin the tires a little but not like a real burnout. The mt drs have 10k miles on them right now and thats with alot of normal street driving with 10-15 track passes. They are down to the wear bars right now.

When I first got the stall I had new yokohoma s drives. I didnt burn them up because like I said I dont really spin the tires a whole lot on the street. At that time I had hoosier drs that I installed for the track. I got sick of switching all the time so thats why I got the mts.

FWIW I just might go back to a street tire and then a hoosier for the track.

How much bad is it for some of you?...

My original tranny could burn'em to the top of 2nd gear (275 18" dunlops, decent tire i guess).... when the tranny went, I put it on stands and sold the wheels the next day and put on my 17" TT2s with 315 555r DRs on the back... I can still roast them till the middle of 2nd gear.. now, thats with a 2k stall up, dump brake and hammer the gas.... the 1-2 upshift is sweeeet....

So i guess the nittos wont make you stick very well then. Im suppoust to buy 2 off my buddy, for 200, with about 80% left...

Should i do that, or look for something different.

You didnt get my point.. my point was the difference the stall makes... Now, when I get the nittos warmed up.. they still spin a little but you have to consider im launching on an unprepped asphalt surface... get the nittos man... you wont find a better hooking street tire for that price...

Theres alot of opinios about nittos, but everyone agrees with the price... Anything better than my street tires would do.
