Hey guys I am doing a swap lq4/4l80e in a 55 chevy truck I don't have a 4l80e yet but found a good deal on a 94, 95, or 96 gmc 1 ton 2 wheel drive van 4l80e tranny would this work? Be hide my lq4 motor. R do I need to try to find a 4l80e around my motor year which is. A 2004 modle year motor the motor was a 4x4. But am going for a 2wd set up. Any help would be great guys! Any year 4L80E should work. If its a 92-92 model, just make sure it has the newer style harness (if it plugs into your harness, its the newer style).
