Default Another Torque Converter Thread

After researching online I had decided that I was either going to go with a Yank SS3600 or a Circle D 3C/4C for my torque converter whenever I have the money to but it, have it installed, tuned.

Yesterday I was looking at CSP's page for tuning and saw that they have a torque converter package that comes with an FTI converter, installed and tuned for $1350. I thought that was a pretty good deal and I have heard some good things about FTI from a few members on here but I am not sure quality wise how they stack up compared to the 2 converters I was looking at or if they offer re-stalls and quality of customer service, etc.

Basically my questions are:
How does FTI compare to Yank or Circle D for customer service and build quality?
Do any sponsors (within 2-3 hours of Westminster, MD) have similar deals to CSP's but for Yank or Circle D?

Fti is a well known converter and Iv heard nothing but great things about their products. I believe they are a sponsor on here. That price you mentioned for the converter/install/tune doesn't seem bad at all

Customer service? I e-mailed them last night at midnight and by 9am in the morning I had a converter spec'd out. I'd be willing to bet they have damn good customer service.

FTI, Circle D, Yank, PTC, all good from what I've seen. I went with a Yank and have been pleased so far.

Yeah I did some extensive digging last night and everyone does say great things about FTI

I went to CSP's site last night to shoot them an email to see if a trans cooler is included because the description doesn't say and I noticed they actually raised the price over the last 2 days to $1450 I guess that's still good, idk

I've heard good things about you Revmax, I'll be sure to consider you if I can't find an all-inclusive package or if I find one that allows you to select the converter brand.

The ones you mentioned are reputable builders. I, on the other hand have been to FTI's shop. They are very good people to deal with. Call Greg at FTI yourself, great guy and has the knowledge.

I have a tci which is known as the worst brand with 50k miles on it. Just depends on your driving style and getting a good trans temp gauge and having everything installed correctly
