so i was driving my car home from work today when i got about 1 mile from work and the car just rev's up.. nothing, no reverse no forward. so i pull off the side of the road turn it off wait for a friend to get there(15 mins) start the car back up it drive another 1/4 mile same thing. so when the tranny gets warm it seems like im losing line pressure. you guys think maybe my pump is bad? only thing that makes sense to me. tranny has 20k on it since it was built up but a pump was one thing that didnt get done cause the tranny wasnt bad when it got built up

I know it sounds basic but check your fluid level.

fluid is fine i checked that long before i thought of posting on a forum....

check your filter?
i had a car do that many years ago.......changed the tranny filter & it worked fine again.
