Hey guys, just looking for opinions. Put a used ptc 3600 converter in, previous was a 2600. Will the tune affect converter much? Car doesnt seem to hit till 4k or higher and shifts seem very soft. Wondering if its in the tune, or if the converter needs to be freshened.

The tune will not affect how the converter works.
However, a loose converter may drop your Mph/rpm ratio and therefore require a re-tune so that the car shifts properly at WOT. Else you may even get codes.
A high stall converter makes the shifts feel softer (I don't know why).
Someone else will have to answer your Q about whether it needs a freshening.
