Default flexplate issues

i have a 98 transam with a 99 6.0l (has the longer crank) i have a 4l80e with a billet converter with ls1 mounting pads. i put the motor in and found i cant use my stock flexplate cause its concaved and hits the converter before i can get the bellhousing to meet the engine, so i ordered a 6.0l flate flexplate and now the converter nub is bottomed out in the crank before i can get the converter tabs to meet the flexplate. so now what i need one thats concaved but less than the stock ls1 plate?

has noone ever put a older 99-00 6.0l in these cars? i cant find an answer anywhere
