Trans problems I have a 01 z28 when I got it, it shifted fine well I let it sit for about a month or 2 and now it slips a little in second but sometimes u can manual shift it and it does fine. Does anyone know what the problem could b?it also won't shift at WOT
Sounds like the 2-4 band is worn out. Probably a good time for a rebuild/upgraded unit. What kindof mods are done to your car and what do you do with the car? Drag racing, auto cross, daily driver, ect.
Gotcha. If you were interested in one of our built transmissions I would recommend one of our Level 4 builds. They are $1,995.00 with your core exchange. It will be more than enough trans to handle what you are doing and give you room to grow in the future. Let me know if you have any questions at all.
