Went out to the drag strip tonight for the first time this year. The first pass was good and went 8.76 at 79 mph. The second pass the car slowed to a 9.06 and 75 mph. The car seemed like it did not want to shift into second. It's like the car wanted to shift but it wouldn't quite get there. I know if I let out of the gas a little bit the car would shift, but at wot it wouldn't. I tried letting the car cool cause we thought the trans was getting hot. After sitting about an hour or so, I went for another pass and still the same problem. It did run a little quicker than the second pass at 8.87 and 77 mph still not wanting to shift. If it helps the first pass half track was 5.66, second pass was 5.80, and third pass was 5.72. This is also 1/8th mile. Not quite sure whats going on. Any help is greatly appreciated.
