Default TMAX Converter Stall

I have torque converter that came with my transmission from a 2000 Corvette and I've tried researching it but I can't find anything out there except supposedly they were stock in Corvettes and it's possibly a low stall. There is a tag on the inner edge that says TMAX 2420 8325 and then one on the side that says MAXIM CONVERTERS B85 TMAX 6585. Does anyone know what the stall is for this converter? I'm trying to figure out if if this will work with a bigger cam in an LS1 for my 72 Cutlass. Thanks in advance if you know the stall.

Also, the converter is painted black. Is that stock also or has it been modified internally and they paint them?

That sounds like a stock 300mm converter. Should stall at about 1800 RPM. Probably not enough for a cam swap.

Default Tmax

TMAX is the low stall...listed as 1397 stall but behind the torque of an LS motor could actually be a bit higher,..but its definantly tight....the TMBX jumps it up about 250rpm and the TLCX is listed as high stall...comes behind 2000+ Astro 4.3s and jumps to over 2000rpm so say 2200 behind an LS...they are both 300mm 3 pad 12.5" units
