converter lock up while racing question
Side note: I have had to replace the transmission in my truck 3 times already, would constant lockup cause a failure?
2000 s10 with 2004 ls1 swap and 4l60e transmission, stock converter
But still, is that the way it needs to be? Locking up through the shifts? I've been having issues o. My 2-3 shift. It either won't shift at all until I let out of it from wot or it shifts so hard it blows the tires off.
If its staying locked up during WOT pulls, unless its built to handle that kind of abuse, dont expect it to last long either.
