4L80E limp mode or something else?
4L80E limp mode or something else? Got the car out last night for the first time on a freshly built 4L80E. Car ran great for the first 10 mins. I brought the car up on about 5psi boost and the trans never shifted to 3rd.
If I understand limp mode... The trans should have locked itself into 2nd gear, but instead it freewheeled in Manual 3rd and Drive. I had no power to the wheels unless I dropped into manual 2nd. I had 1st 2nd and reverse. (Freewheeled in 3rd & 4th)
I though something was broken, but today I started it up and it shifted fine. Ran it up to 130mph on the jack stands. Took it around the block and I have all gears.
Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?
