Which stall for a supercharged C5?
Okay gang,
I'm sure sooner or later the stock trans is going to bite it, so I'm going to yank the trans as soon as I get back from Power Tour and have it rebuilt to handle the power from the blower.
Question is, which stall to put in? I was leaning towards the Vig 2800...here's what the car has in it :
3:15 gears
Ported Throttle Body
LS6 Intake
Texas Speed & Performance Long Tubes & Off Road mid pipes
Corsa Indy Pace Car Exhaust
A & A supercharger kit
Car puts down 515 RWHP /455 RWTQ
I'm running a set of MT 17" drag radials ( 275/40/17 )
What say you?

I would recommend a 3200-3600 Precision Industries converter. Having a 3.15 gear you will probably want to go on the looser end of that range. We just installed a 2800 stall and 3.42 gear into a local customers car and the first outing he ran the car right off the street and went 11.42. His previous best was 12.02 with the stock converter and 3.15 gears. If you are looking for max effort the looser converter will give you more gains with the higher rear gear.
