What all model 4l60e's will fit my 99 z28 I'm probabaly gonna go to the scrap yard and pick up one while I have mine built.

Only a 1998 thru 2007 will fit. The trans MUST have a bolt hole in the 12-O'Clock position to properly mate with your LS1 engine; 1998 was the first year for that.
(The 2008+ requires a different computer.)

Q - Is this really worth while? How long do you have to wait for your "built" one.

Sorry I meant out of what vehicles any 4.8 and 5.3 2wd truck?

i think they all will bolt up but the output shaft and/or tailshaft housing may be different.
