Default Performabuilt Trans?

Im tired of having to pull my trans and take it to the local trans builder and it doesnt last. Looking at getting the Performabuilt level 2 trans and im just wondering would it hold up to the abuse of daily driving about 200 miles round trip and weekend drags my car is pretty much full bolt on with tune and 200 shot on radials . I have a 3200 vig stall i will be using with it just looking for feedback and reviews on their trans as i see they are well known in the LS world Thanks for the input and help in advance guys!!

I had multiple problems with my first lvl 2 performabuilt trans and torque converter. Blew the first one within like 2k miles and they replaced with another one seeing as how it was under warranty. The stalls were never the right size for my application. I blew the second performabuilt tq converter and replaced it with a circle d and havent had any problems from the trans since. If you decide to go with their trans i would go with a different brand converter.

everyone has issues with every builder sooner or later circle d is one of the best but the warranty sucks it is like 45 days circle d convertors is a different company but in houston thats where most of us go to that can afford it to get a good trans

Isn't Jim at Transformance in SC or NC?

I would try to look him up and see if he's local or semi-local to you.

If your willing to spend that much on your trans go with an RPM or FLT. granted they have a 6 month warranty they are the best in the business.
