Default Bad converter or trans

I bought a car it has a 0 mile converter in it and fresh rebuilt turbo 400. The 400 has been went through buy a couple people and "checked" out fine. The car does not move, no drive or reverse. What is the easiest way to figure out what one is bad? Can a bad converter do this? Could a shop tear the converter apart and find the issue? I'm looking for the most cost effective way to do this.

I'm going to check the trans running and see if its pumping fluid. Is there a pressure port or should I pop a line and see if it squirts?

Sounds like converter wasn't seated properly and crushed the pump when it was put in.

Trans was pulled in and out 4 times. Could it have damaged the converter then? The pump is new

Got some info from a converter company told me to tap the side of the trans with pressure gauge and see if I have line pressure, if its zero the trans is bad. I got pressure then maybe it could be the converter but still most likly a trans issue
