Default SS4000 or SS4000E

I've been thinking about switching to the SS4000 converter for possible future plans. I don't think my TCS 4200 would work well on spray. It has shift extensions of 6000 already with stock internals. I have Absolute H/C on the way and was thinking of possibly spraying after I get that all worked out. Question is would I be alright with the Yank SS4000 or should I go with the SS4000E.

Thanks
Mike

Probably 150 shot. I would say 175 max.

the "E" i believe is for the nitrous right? I dont know for sure. But from what i have read you dont want to go more than a 4000 stall if you are spraying. I would do some searches for "nitrous converter" or "SS4000" or something along those lines and see whta you come up with. Have you tried to contact Yank about this?

Yank will tell you to go with the E. The regular version will certainly work but since you're spraying, you might as well go ahead and get the E. It'll give you slightly increased accuracy (by eliminating any flex) at high TQ levels and give you a larger safety margin. You might also pick up a little extra performance from the posi-loc clutch activating at those power levels.

Thanks for the info. Will there be much of a differance N/A between the two? I probably wouldn't spray too often.

The difference NA would not be at all discernable. All you're talking about is just a little bit of weight added to an already featherlite converter. No big deal.
