stall converter?

stall converter? ok so im looking for a temp. stall converter until i get my 9in and built tranny. i realize circle d vigilante and yank are the way to go but what would you recommend for a good budget stall that will serve its temp. purpose
PTC builds an awesome converter and has a non billet with anti ballooning plates budget converter for 525$ shipped, it includes a cooler.

Revmaxx is much cheaper I would rather spend an extra hundred or so bucks and grab a PTC myself.

You are aware just because a converter costs more doesn't mean it will perform better?
Budget and how well the converter works do not go hand in hand. You're paying the same price for xxxx companies billet off the shelf product as you are xxxx companies billet custom built converter... Price doesn't make things better or equal in all cases, it makes them more expensive or the same price.

agreed fti makes a badass converter, ive heard good things about circle d, ptc and yank also. op why not buy a used billet one on here and then when you get the new tranny just have it sent back to rebuilt and restalled.... cheaper and you will have a nice converter all the time.
