Old timer by the name of Choco Taco did a post on this subject some time ago.
It ended up being 9 or 10 pages if I remember.
At any rate, it turned out that the 4l60e did just fine handling up to 400rwhp, as long as the engine rpm never climbed past 6100-6200 rpm's.
It was obvious from the post's that the folks who's tranny's were failing, had some fairly healthy cams that were turning 6500-6700 rpm's before shifting.
The stock pump in the trans could not cope with the demands of those high rpm's and failed to push enough tranny fluid.
The folks who ran smaller cams, and kept the shift points/ rev limiter near stock seemed to do ok.
I, myself, have the GM Hotcam. Couple years back I ordered an FLT lvl4 trans, as my planned nitrous kit would have pushed me well into the 490-500rwhp range.
Once I had that FLT trans sitting on the floor of my garage, I proceded to beat the hell out of my stock tranny.
At the time I was at 373rwhp N/A.
I also, at that time, had a 75hp zex kit, [ about 50rwhp].
So, with 423rwhp, that trans never missed a beat thru the whole summer.
I had at least a dozen 1/4 mile passes, all in the 11.56-11.70 range, plus many many wot runs just for fun.
And you know what?
Come october when I pulled that trans, it was doing just fine.
Point is, assuming your 4l60e is in good shape to begin with, and you have a good trans cooler, and you keep your shift points around 6100 rpms or so, you should be ok at your power level.
