Pleased with my Performabuilt Lvl 2 4L60
Took my car to the track last night with drag radials. So was finally able to run it in D and let the trans do it's thing. I proved to myself and anyone watching in the past weeks that manually shifting at the drag strip will make a fool out of you with these electronically controlled transmissions.
So I read and studdied shift mph and RPM and made my best guess. Well, that first pass, the car shifted itself just fine, although not where I thought I told it to....more work to do there. Was very glad it didn't spaz out and have me on the rev limiter like it did when manually shifting it.
PB says go ahead and race these things, that is my plan.
Shifts are exellent. Nice and firm, not brutal. Very solid. Nothing broke. No hiccups.
Car ran 11.30's @ 121+. Pretty satisfied so far, and know there is more in it.
