What mpg are the 4L60e guys getting??
i have a ls2, tfs 225 heads, 239/246 112+3 cam, fats 102, full exhaust, circle d 4k converter and a ford 8.8 with 3.55's and a 26 inch tall tire and on the interstate im getting 14-15 mpg running about 70-75.... does this sound about right? i figured it would be better than that.. that was with me and my girlfriend so the car total would have weighed around 3600 ish lbs.. i figured it would get like 17-18 but who knows...

Yea its all in the setup, my t/a was stock and had 2.73's and got 26+ but in my Camaro with 4.11's and full exhaust running open cutout I get 16... Maybe. But I agree with above you should be getting better. What is your cruising rpm

mainly highway, I drive about 5 miles through town then 30 on the highway. Thats what I drive one way to work on Monday then do it again on the way back on sat... Sucks. But with the right size tires it will help with your cruising rpms to help get better mpg's at least on the highway. I'm getting some 28's and that will drop my rpms by about 600 rpms.

My car bone stock gets 290-300 miles per tank all highway. Which is only like 17.5 mpg. For the most part I'm pretty light on the pedal. So I feel like thats a problem now that I'm reading people saying they get 20+.

Yea in my t/a bone stock I would hit 300 with a 1/4 tank left. That was going easy mainly highway and 2.73's so if you have the more popular 3.23's it may be a little less but that still seems really low. Maybe you aren't as stock as you think or are in need of a tune up. I know when I put new tires on the front I got a little better... Not sure why but ill take it

I do have 3.23s so that might hurt a little. But I know my car is bone stock. Nothing aftermarket on it except for C5 wheels and the radio. (I'll be popping the stock cherry tomorrow with an slp lid haha) I did have really worn out front tires on that trip though so that and 3.23s might have been enough to drop me a couple mpg.

with my stock 2.73's I would consistently get 27.5 mpg on the highway. With 3.42 gears I could get 26 mpg if I kept rpm at or under 2000 rpm - no more than 70 mph. Above 70 mph gas mileage plummets quick. Stock engine, some tuning, airlid.
