Whats the best combo for street and some track use?? Want to see what other people have tried

We'd need more information on a particular application, there are a lot of variables. 3200+ converter (higher converter stall should help against turbo lag from a longer spooling turbo). Gears are debatable, obviously you don't want to run out of gear but you'll also need gear to make the converter higher on the street so maybe a 3.50 gear.

Okay...2000 z28 iron 5.7 ls1 cam 317 heads...Front mount turbo will put down at least 600 to the wheels. I have 3.73's now. Anything else?
