4l60e install help I am dropping an 5.3L/4l60e into my Jeep. I am currently (trying to) bolt up the 4l60e to the motor. I have installed a stock torque converter onto the trans. When measuring the mounting face to the TC lugs I get right at 1". Also when I bolt the tranny to the motor I am getting a measurment of 3/16" from flywheel to TC lugs.
I hear the 3 clicks of the TC seating itself on the input shaft of the trans, and the TC spins freely once bolted to the motor.
Are these acceptable numbers?
