which trans for me????
im in the process of swapping an auto into my camaro. it isnt a daily driver. honestly i havent driven it in almost a year. i have the harness and a 4l60e and circle d 3600 convertor. i had just pulled the trans outta my buddies car and it was rebuilt. probably has about 5000 miles on it or so. im afraid with my 383 that made 480hp through the 6 speed and at least a 150 shot im gonna blow that trans apart.
so my question is should i sell the 4l60 and convertor now before its junk and if i do what do i need? th350 or th400? really not interested in the cost of a 4l80e swap. i dont see the car ever making more than 650 to the wheels. how much power are you guys making reliably with th350's?
thanks for any input
