What year is the used 4l60e for $200$ ??
It needs to be a '98 or later with the bolt hole in the 12 O'clock position which indicates it has a 300mm input shaft.

You PM'ed me several Craigslist entries and I would pick the 2002 trans from a Z28 for $350.
At least get the fluid and filter changed. Also the little O-ring on in the input shaft. Based on other posts where people had leaks with junkyard transmissions, you might want to replace the front and rear seals, the O-ring for the connector and seal for the dipstick tube.

A .500 boost valve is a good idea for any performance transmission and very simple to install. You want the Sonnax 4L60E-LB1:

If you can spare another $100, I would replace the shift solenoids, the pressure control solenoid and the wiring harness, which includes the TCC solenoid.
