6l80E

Will all 6l80e's work with all gen IV engines?

I was wondering if a 6l80E will work with all year escalde engines, such as a l92 and l94 from a 2011 and never?

All of the 6l80's have internal computer right?

Also did the 6l80 ever come in a 2wd version direct from the factory? If so will a l94 bolt upto it?

Yes G8's, Camaros, Vettes (rear located). NFI on L94.

The L94 has options for a 2wd 6l80 stock from Cadillac in the 2wd Escalade's.

The GMT900 trucks with 6l80/90's have 2wd versions with a slip yoke.
The cars have fixed yokes. You can also use a 2wd 6l90e as well.

So lots of options.
