i have a 1995 gmc 4l60e 2wd stocky stock stock and have destroyed 2 trans pumps within 4 months. on both pumps took pan off and replaced filters first but still no gears.now both trans have pumps out strapped to my bench with bukets underneath. my questions would be what causes the pump failure? how much fluid goes back into it when 1 gets installed again?
