Big Questions I bought a 4L60-E out of a 2001 SS and I need to know what else I need to make the swap. The tranny is going in a 1997 Z28.
Things I allready have.
1.Tranny and bellhouse
2.TransGo Shiftkit installed
3.new tranny mount
4. LS1 Torque Converter and flwheel both stock and new.
If you can tell me anything else I need to do just tell me.

I honestly don't think the LS1 Tranny will fit the LT1's....maybe seeing as you are using an LS1 flywheel....just gotta check the bolt holes on the crank for the LT1 so the LS1 flexplate will bolt up

um why dont you just get a lt1 4l60e or a 700r4 --the ls1 4l60e have the exact same internal parts "except the 700r4 has a diff. valve body" and are not any stronger than one from a lt1---input shaft is different "splines" i see lt1 4l60s on ebay all the time for under 300 bux
