Default 5.3 with a 2004r trans have ???

Whats it gonna take to get a 200r4 matted to a 2005 5.3,can i use the flex plate i have on the 5.3...

I think just the spacer plate for all old school trannys and it should mate. Might have to mod the flex plate to mate with the convertor bolt holes by either drilling new or opening the current holes. i honestly don't know just trying to help. Not too hard it seems. Also don't forget about the cable

Yes, you can use the 5.3L unit, just elongate the holes for the 200r4 converter as they are off a little. Then use the Hughes bushing spacer its cheapest and easier than the GM spacer.

BO185 ,any idea where to find the hughes bushing??

did google and didnt find it.
