I would go with performaBuilt lv2 man I ran one for 2 years and had no issues and ran over a 100 bottles of nitrous.
I have ran their transmissions in my cars for 5 years and Frank is a great guy and stands .
behind their product and is always great about customer service
I also just ordered a 60e my dad one for his 68 firebird he wanted a good trans that will hold power and that he still can cruise to car meets with.

One thing i did like about performabuild is that they dont charge for shipping and you dont have to send them a core back so man idk which way to go lol

scrap it and do a th400 swap...just remember when you buy a mail order 4l60e when it fails you are out shipping plus downtime while they find a reason it failed on your part

I was thinking of doing a th400 since I know they can handle some real power but what parts would I need to convert it over. I know since I have a 98 i dont need to change the flex plate.

I would call fLT! Been running his level 7 for 7 years with 680 to the wheels. Blower car. 2nd gear just went out. Can't ask for much more IMO. 7 years strong with almost 700rwhp beating on it. I'm sending my back to him this week

I'm looking for a good dependable unit that will hold up to 700rwhp without failing a few months after its installed. Any recommendations will be appreciated.
I have used MadDog in the past and have nothing but great things to say I had them build me a transmission I couldn't break. Currently having him build me another one with a stall for my 02 Z28 A4.

yes mad dogs prices are the best hands down but i've done alot of research and he's had a few too many bad complaints, so idk if i can even take that chance.
