The MSRP on these is $590. Ive seen on a lot of other forums that they have managed to get these sort of deals on group buys.
"I spoke with Baumann Engineering and the price for the controller and harness is $610. They are willing to offer the following mass buy discounts:
20 or more: $150
15-19: $125
10-14: $100
5-9: $ 75"
Thats obviously quite a bit of savings for something that a lot of people would be interested in and one of the best controllers in the market.
Excuse me if Im crossing some sort of vendor or something line, but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a group buy for these.
The controllers themselves are all the same. But they have seperate harnesses for the following transmissions.
GM 4L60E and 4L80E
Pre-1998 Ford 4R70W and AOD-E Transmissions
1998-2000 Ford 4R70W Transmissions
2001-up Ford 4R70W and 4R75 Transmi
1995-1997 Ford E4OD Transmissions
1998-up Ford E4OD and 4R100 Transmissions
Ive never setup a Group Buy, I just know that Im wanting an Optishift and they seem to be open to group buys.
Post up if you'd be interested and I will be talking to a few people about getting it going.

I would possibly be in for one. I will be doing a 4L80E swap here very soon. Just starting to gather parts for the swap on my 98 SS. A few people say they can make the 98 PCM control the 4L80E, I hope so. But, if not I would purchase a controller to make it work.
