Default 4L60e & 4L65e torque converters..?

Hello, can these two transmissions share the same torque converters?

yes and no there are many different configurations. Be more specific and it will be much easier to answer your question.

I see you anked this in another ancient old thread which I answered with the following:

Yes, as long as you are comparing '98 or later 4L60E with a 300mm input shaft (all '98+ for LS engine are 300mm). There are no external or electrical differences.

Since there are some differences after 2006, affecting both 4L60E and 4L65E, tell us exactly what you are considering.

Looking for sum help on 4l65e trans just got it from monster transmission and ran great for the first 2500 hundred miles but was going down the highway taday and the tranny was slipping in 3 and 4 checked the fluid that morning before I had any problems and it was on the nutts checked it after it was slipping and it said it was really high anyone have sum advice thanks

Sounds like the 3-4 clutch failed for one reason or another.

First, you should feel free to start a new thread and not hijack an existing one.

As Carlsonauto says, your 3-4 clutch has failed which is a common problem with these transmissions. Time to check your warranty.
