Default would anything in the trans affect stall

The issue I'm having is after a rebuild my stall is 1000-1100 rpm less and I've had it back to PTC 3 times and tried two different converters that are speced to be 4000, but none of them come close to the rating. I've been told that it could be from higher pressures. I did replace the pump and stator because the old one had some pretty bad grooves inside. I also installed no yoyo hi rev kit with the new slide spring.

If converter charge pressure increases then stall will go down.Have you spoke with Kenny?

Yes he is the one I've spoken to. He's the one that asked about the pressure increase. I will look into changing the regulator springs. I do have abnormally high pressures on this tranny usually with the transgo orange springs it idles around 78psi, but this one is 98.
