Stripped converter hole

Has anyone ever had a problem with a stripped converter hole? If so what did you do to fix it? or what can i do? Im debating to buy this 4000 vigilante.

Is this made of aluminum or steel? If aluminum take it to a machine shop and have them tig weld it up and rethread or helicoil it if they can. If steel a helicoil should work just fine.

Its steel, Can the machine shop still fix it if they use Helicoil?

There is a system called "Lock n Stitch". I have seen it used to replace head bolts in cracked blocks. You would need to find a machine shop that can do it. Check out thier site.
