Default Manual Valvebody

How much trouble is it to run a manual valvebody on the street?Would it be possible to run a converter lockup switch with the manual valvebody?

that is what i plan on doing and not worrieing about locking it up till i get on the highway. i plan to mount a switch on the shifter.

also from driving my friends car it is way fun but then kinda anoying since i am not use to shifting all the time.

i am guessing you are talking for the 80? do it if you are cuz i will not have the settup for a fiew months and you can tell me any issues.

also another issue i think is a big bonus is turn off the auto tranny in the computer and then no tq management

Yeah it's the 4L80E I figure I can use a lot a second gear takeoffs during normal street driving with the 4.56 gears.
