Default What converter should I go with?

So I know there is alot of good converters out there to go with on the 4l60e,
Im just not sure which way to go, thought I would ask for some opinions here.
I have a 2000 SS camaro, makes 420ish on the wheels, spraying the car 125 shot and the converter is just not wanting to take it, it surges on top end as well, planning on upping shot to a 200 shot, 3.73 gear, planning on riding the car on street some just around town and what not but no big trips or lots of miles or anything. More track use. So what is your alls opinion?

I run PTC converters. My car used to have a H/C/I LS1, th400, 4.10s, 28" drag radials with a 200 shot. It was even my daily driver for a short time. I never had any issues and car always performed well.

They will be building my converter for the turbo build this year.

You say PTC, now is that the same group that does the vigilante converter?
Im just wondering do I really need to go with the triple disc converter or will the single disc be good enough for the job, Im figuring 650hp as a goal.

i would look at the Pro Yanks series converters. they are designed for big no2 shots. Even the Yanks SS4000 would like a 200 shot and slam you into your seat.

For WOT lock up you need a billet multi disk, our multi will handle the 200 shot no problem. I can help spec you a converter, just need you to fill out an Ask Chris form with your full info. Link is in sig...

Thanks,
Chris

Ok Ive narrowed my choices down to a couple here, and just wondering the pros and cons with some of you guys running a single disc compared to a multi disc. Some say the single disc will make quicker track times, any thoughts?
