That doesn't sound right. I found that wet clearance was about .001 per friction less than dry clearance. So you should have been around .052. Even if it were double that, you would still have plenty of clearance.
I suspect something didn't seat correctly when you reassembled wet. Sometimes an air test will help seat things.

All together shifts and drives fine. 1-2 shift is firm 2-3 3-4 just ok. Monitoring pcs amperage with snap on solus pro, not sure if this is good info or if I should be running a guage. Cleaned maf, I heard this can cause low pressures. No codes, erased learned trans memory. Only have a 1 mile road to test on (unregistered)
pcs amp readings while driving are at 1.05 when first taking off, wot is.58. Should be lower than this, I'm wondering if the Superior shift kit with .500 boost valve I installed, upped the pressure so now the pcm is cutting back pcs to compensate.
While in park I can rev it and get the reading to .16, and doing a quick throttle jab when in gear gets the same results .16. But when driving never below .58
