Shift Kit Question
I drove with a STOCK tune in my Z71 for about 4 months w/ a TransGo and both billet servos and once I removed all the TqMgt I could tell the shifts were cleaner. They were basically fighting each other. It will still be fully drivable but to get the most out of the TransGo and your stall, get that TqMgt deleted.
Also, keep the feed holes in the sep plate sensable (sp?). ~.082 1-2; ~.093" 2-3; ~.082 3-4. The washers also in the 1-2 accumulator most of the truck guys don't use as they add some harshness to the shifts.
I'd also get that 'Vette servo at least and the aluminum 1-2 accumulator piston.
www.kdsperformance.com the Vette servo is just for the 1-2 upshift and the 3-2 downshift. It's about $15, shift quality is slightly better than the OE servo. I believe the OE is a 553 and the Vette is a 554. That aluminum 1-2 piston is about $9 I think there.
