Default Transmission Line Pressure Tuning vs. Boost

I want to give a tip to those who tune and are using boost.

Many tuning programs use TPS x Commanded Line Pressure.
Some give the option to use Boost PSI x Commanded Pressure.

If using a boosted combo you need to be aware that the power isn't linear with TPS like a N/A combo, and as such you cannot set line pressure to follow TPS. It either needs to be boost based (in tune or via vacuum modulator) or fixed.

We have a customer who has eaten 3 transmissions with virtually no mileage and after the 2nd time we figured out the tuning issue (installed elsewhere), and the 3rd time was caused by a "flushed converter" severely contaminating the transmission.

So for the hp tuner challenged where would ya start on tuning according to boost then or how do you implement that into the trans tune?

Was this on a TwinTurbo GTO from Minnesota?

How do you flush the converter? I am looking at the same trans this guy has and I would like to learn as much as I can. I don't want to go threw three trannies. I just could not afford it. My setup is going to be twin 76s shooting for over 1000rwhp.
